This is the home page of Biology 1010, General Biology I, at Northwest College, and is intended for use by students in Elise Kimble's class. This page is designed to enhance the information you might get in the lecture and laboratory sections of the class. It will point you to new and interesting information on the Internet that simply could not be included in your textbook. CHAPTER ENHANCEMENTS The Internet can be a great resource to supplement your textbook. First, for each chapter you'll find a list of learning and study objectives. These should help you focus your study and readings. Second are some off-campus internet sites that can enrich your study of each chapter.

Raven and Johnson's Chapter Learning Tools are study aids from your General Biology textbook. Included here are review tests you may take to check your understanding.

Mader's Chapter Learning Tools. Another textbook's study aids. You can access chapter outlines, terms, study questions and link to chapter-related web sites. You may have to fish around to find the correct chapters. Chapters 23 to 26 cover ecology.
