FIELD ECOLOGY LAB AT NORTHWEST COLLEGE


This is the home of Biol 2410, Field Ecology Lab, at Northwest College. This one credit course is taught in conjunction with BIOL 2400 General Ecology each Spring semester. The primary purpose of this laboratory course is to give the student practical experience in the methodology of field and laboratory techniques used in Ecology. Emphasis is placed on techniques used to sample and analyze organisms and communities in both plant and animal studies. Students also gain skills in experimental design, critical thinking, and scientific writing.
