This is the home of Biol 2400, General Ecology, at Northwest College. Here, you'll find information about the class and materials that may be used in conjunction with the class. From here you can also visit other sites on the Internet that are
pertinent to the field of ecology. Look at this information and visit these other ecological sites around the globe to see the great depth and breadth of ecology.
I. COURSE SYLLABUS Details and instructions for your research paper assignment are included here.
II. WRITING A RESEARCH PAPER
This page provides some guidelines and suggestions for organizing your research paper. Included here are details on the required format for citing resources, and information on plagiarism. Consider this required reading.
III. REFERENCES TO OTHER GENERALIZED GUIDES
The Internet is a dynamic resource, changing daily. Maintaining a list of interesting and appropriate Ecology sites requires much work and effort. The many search engines that are available can help you to locate sites of interest on specific topics. However, several organizations have gathered sites of ecological interest into lists that are fascinating to browse and may be a good spot to begin looking for topics you need.
IV. ONLINE JOURNALS, TEXTBOOK and COURSE RESOURCES
